Nominate the best in local business

NOMINATIONS for the 10th Anniversary Far West NSW Excellence in Business Awards have now opened, with the Gala awards night to be held at the Gary Radford Pavillion on November 1.

The awards aim to celebrate and recognise the contributions of local businesses who provide exceptional service, commitment to customers and social and environmental contributions.

Nominations close midnight August 31, with businesses encouraged to self-nominate or to nominate an outstanding employee.

Judging of self-nominating categories is run independently, with a panel of experts based on the East Coast able to make decisions provided by applicants.

15 different category winners will be announced on the awards night, along with one overall winner – the Outback Spirit Award.

People’s choice categories can be voted on by the public, with categories including Service with a Smile, The Region’s Most Popular Business and Outstanding Community Group or Social Enterprise.

Self nomination categories for 15 different categories and People’s Choice nominations can be completed online at farwestbusinessawards.com.au

Tables will be available for Gala Awards night and everyone is invited, whether nominated for awards or not.

For further information, contact RDA FW Director Michael Williams or staff at the RDA FW Office on 8087 8383.
