Youth market to return

YOUTH Twilight Markets will be held in Sturt Park between 4pm to 7pm on April 10, in celebration of Youth Week 2025.

Council is encouraging locals between the ages of 12 and 24 to showcase their talents at the youth market.

All mediums are welcome whether that be live music, art and craft or food.

Council community development officer Alison Howse said last year’s youth market was well supported.

“We had around a dozen stalls selling craft, jewellery, candles, drawings, and art works. There was some amazing work and locals loved seeing it all on display,” she said.

“There were also two bands playing along with four solo artists, it was great entertainment and made for an excellent day in the park.”

A two hour workshop for young entrepreneurs and those interested in the music industry will be facilitated by council.

All interested should email community.development@brokenhill.nsw.gov.au
