South to keep rolling on

South v Central

FOR me this contest is tantalising.

Central really need to win or simply stay in the contest just to simply install belief moving forward.

However, South to me don’t look like slowing down; they seem to just getting started.

I think South will be primed moving into finals. I think I will go to this game and just see where Central are truly at. They cannot afford to allow South to have the game on their terms.

Central need to take something away from South. Preparation will be crucial in this contest.

Central are still the hunter and South the hunted, which does make a difference. In my opinion, South are just good in the air and on the ground whilst Central are good in the contest and in the air.

If I had to separate the two, it would be South’s ground ball speed and pressure skills.

So for those two reasons, I’m jumping on the Roos. I will go South by 27 points. Let’s just hope for a great game Enjoy the footy everyone.

North v West

WELL, the stakes are pretty high in this match.

North need to recover quickly and West need to get some confidence moving into finals.

These two teams have quite contrasting styles; North are very skilled and should keep possession of the footy whilst West will try to pressure North into turnover.

North should clearly beat West and I think they will.

I think North’s skill sets will be too good for turnovers and they’re probably itching to get back to what they know they can do.

I hope West take the game up to West, they need to. I gave them a bit of a whack the other day, asking what they stand for.

Well, this game they can show us all; just get back to doing the basics well; limit mistakes but take the game on.

Yes, West have run, but so do North.

North’s speed in Pitt and Ferguson is a luxury to have and I think both of them will set up the play and finishes as well.

I like the game of young McEvoy from West whilst his counterpart in Fawner is also having an impact on games.

The result of this game could have a distinct repercussion on the remaining season.

But for me, I’m going with the Dogs again by 42 points.
