BROKEN Hill Lifeline’s annual Christmas Toy Delivery is now open and accepting new gifts via donation points.
For those doing it tough, registrations to receive a toy basket can be accessed at the Lifeline Centre during business hours, and for families at Wilcannia at the Ray Hunter Park on Wednesday, November 27 and Friday, December 6 between 11am and 1pm.
In support of the drive, people can drop off new, unwrapped, toys for donation at multiple businesses in Broken Hill.
These businesses include the Broken Hill Community Credit Union, Miani’s Deli, Pepe’s Milk Bar, and 7 Day Spares.
“The opportunity to support Lifeline’s Christmas Toy Delivery truly resonates with all of us at BHCCU,” said the credit union’s manager Louise Hunt.
“As a community-focused business, we understand that the holiday season can be particularly challenging for many families.
“Everyone deserves to feel special on Christmas, which is why this project by our local Lifeline is so important.
“We encourage the community to get behind it in whatever way they can.”
