A MAN is set to face court after allegedly being found driving while disqualified and under the influence.
On Sunday, officers from the Barrier Highway Patrol pulled over a green Holden Cruze in Broken Hill.
Police state the driver was disqualified from driving until mid-2025.
The driver allegedly returned a positive oral fluid test, and was then arrested and taken to the Broken Hill Police Station.
At the station a second test was taken, which allegedly returned a positive result for traces of methamphetamine.
It has since been sent to a laboratory for further analysis.
The driver was charged with driving while disqualified as a second or subsequent offence, and will appear before the Broken Hill Local Court.
Driving while disqualified can net a conviction for a first offence alone of fine of up to $3300 and up to six months jail, and for a second and/or subsequent offence, up to $5500 and one year in imprisonment.
