TWO members of the Broken Hill Bike Club, president Ben Evans and Ethan Kimball, took on the gruelling 235km Peaks Challenge in alpine Victoria earlier in the month.

On Sunday, March 9, riders were given 13 hours to complete the not only lengthy, but high altitude, track.

To prepare for challenges like this, the Broken Hill Bike Club meets at 5.30am every morning at the Mulga for a town loop.
