Cannabis seized after warrant

A SEARCH warrant undertaken on a Broken Hill property on Tuesday, November 5 discovered cannabis and equipment to grow the drug.

The property was located on Chapple Lane.

“We located equipment used to cultivate cannabis and seized in excess of 1kg of cannabis in relation to that job,” Barrier Police District Acting Inspector Matt Sippel said.

Insp Sippel said the alleged assailants had been issued a future court notice to attend Broken Hill Court for cultivating a prohibited plant.
