10 years since native title win

THIS year marks the ten-year anniversary since the largest native title claim in New South Wales history was won by a federal court during a hearing in Broken Hill.

In 2015, the Barkandji people had 128,000 square kilometres of land from the South Australian border to Wentworth and up to almost Wanaaring recognised in a native title determination.
