THERE are 11 new students from the school-based apprenticeship and traineeship, or SBAT, program working at Far West Local Health District.

The effort aims to allow students to start their career on health while still studying at high school.

The two-year program is open to all Year 10, 11 and 12 high school students in New South Wales that are participating in a Higher School Certificate.
