STATE Nationals leader Dugald Saunders visited Broken Hill following the energy crisis, and was asking for clarity on "how $400 will help businesses who have had massive losses".
Mr Saunders, who had on Wednesday called for funding from the State Government on Wednesday, reacted to the announcement of $400 payments to small and medium businesses.
"The Minns Labor Government has finally rolled out some support for families and businesses impacted by the major power outages in far western NSW," he said.
"After hearing from locals on the ground in Broken Hill (on Wednesday), it is clear people are struggling."
Mr Saunders said the funding amounts were "nowhere near enough to help get them back on their feet".
Premier Chris Minns said the $400 payment was a starting point, and that there would be further assistance.
