ABOUT 1200 supporters gathered in the stands at the Broken Hill Speedway on Saturday night to watch riders from across the country compete in the New South Wales Sidecar Championship.

Two local Broken Hill teams made the seniors final, with Rick Stephens and Nick O'Brien finishing second and Max Howse and Riley Commons taking home third place in the big race.
