A NINE-hole stroke round was played on Wednesday, October 30, with W. Kitchen taking out the event with 36 net on a countback from G. Gillespie.

Rounding out the results were M. Winen on a countback with R. Rowe, both 35 net and R. Thomas edging out D. Richardson on a countback, both on 33 net.

NTP: B Gillespie 2.85m.

Friday’s nine-hole Stableford: K. Holmes 23 points, W. Kitchen 18 points, B. Gillespie 18 points, E. Wheeler 18 points (countback).

Veterans

THE Golf Broken Hill Veterans Golf Club played their final round of the Veterans 36 hole championship on Monday with a total field of 40 players over two rounds.

The champion for 2024 was Michael Wheatley on 72 points, second was John Dickinson with 71 points and third Trevor Henderson on 70 points. The ‘LOFT’ winner was Bruce Bowden.

Stableford, Monday, October 28: Ross Howse 38 points, second Trevor Henderson 35 points and third Michael Wheatley 35 points.

NTPs: 2nd – Trevor Henderson, 13th – John Coffey, 16th –Trevor Henderson.

Best nine holes: Brian Spain and Ray Sartori.
