SOUTH Broken Hill Golf Club members travelled down the Silver City Highway to play at Red Cliffs Golf Club at the weekend.
Saturday’s 18-hole stroke round was won by D. Burns 74 net from runner-up D. Richardson with 83 net followed in third place by I. Sheehan with 86 net.
On Sunday a nine-hole stroke round was played followed by a nine-hole Ambrose in pairs.
D. Burns continued his good form from Saturday with 36 net from runner-up I. Sheehan 40 net and D. Richardson rounding out the podium with 42 net.
The Ambrose winners were G. McWaters and B. Gillespie on a countback from runners-up D. Burns and D. Brennan, both teams on 32½ net, with third place going to D. Richardson and I. Sheehan with 34½ net.
