South take North apart

South v North

WELL, was it an admiration or were South that good?

I watched the game, and yes, South were just that good. They completely picked North apart.

North’s team defence was nonexistent. I have been on North’s bandwagon all year, but from what I saw on the weekend, we now have a new flag favourite.

South made North look irrelevant. I picked North to win this game and I picked West to beat Central.

Don’t I feel foolish. The reality of it all was South pressured North into subliminal.

I got no idea what North’s stand-in coach was doing — nor do I think he does.

South just picked holes all day and don’t get me started on the clearance work. South were simply dominating and took advantage of the hit outs.

North didn’t put any defensive structure around the ball and South just walked out with it.

I would hate to know how many goals South kicked from clearance. If North bring that rubbish again, it will be season over.

Yunta thirds would have beat North on the weekend. Am I disappointed? Yes, I am.

North were my pick all year, but you can’t be dismantled like that and recover.

To be honest, I was in a little disbelief. But all the credit has to go to South.

I did mention before the game that South’s talls were the danger and that proved a 100 per cent correct. North had no answers.

Let’s hope North can get back on the bike urgently. And South just keep motoring. I think in the end South won by a clear 11 goals.
