NORTH women's cricket team fought hard to secure a win against South, winning by five wickets in the T20 Barrier Cricket League grand final on Saturday.

South went to bat first at the Norm Fox Oval with the opening duo of Abbey Johns and Lakisha Sloane.

North kept Johns to three runs when she was caught by Steph Balman in the third over.
