Artist talk with photographer Em Jensen and Melbourne-based filmmaker and photographer Hashem McAdam about film photography, stories behind the portraits and broader themes of movement, belonging and place, regarding Jensen’s current exhibition From Away.

Footpath Planting Workshop

Slag Heap Projects, 217 Oxide Street, 10am – 3pm

Join us for a hands-on workshop prepping, planting and caring for this shared plot of garden, connecting with others and learning about native and resilient plants perfect for public spaces. Bring gloves and a shovel if you have them! All other materials and light food will be provided.

On the last Sunday of the month, we will head to different locations to take photos – all welcome.

Standard times will be 10am – 12pm, meeting at the Art Exchange Kitchen Gallery and heading out to capture the beauty of the Silver City and the Far West.
