Scam Awareness Sessions

AWARENESS sessions targeting regional fraud and scamming will be held in Broken Hill next week, in a collaboration between Westpac and the NSW Government.

The workshops will be held on Wednesday July 23 at the Civic Centre between 4.30-5.30pm, and will help residents be able to identify and avoid potential scams and understand the best ways to protect their identity and finances.

Bank Manager of Westpac Broken Hill, Aimee Gottardo, said the workshop will be useful in helping to protect residents in Broken Hill from these scams.

“Scams are an issue across Australia right now and we want to help protect people, especially our local community here in Broken Hill,” she said.

“By partnering with ID Support NSW we’re aiming to share the latest insights and tips to help residents spot a scam, protect their personal information, and feel confident to manage their financial security.”Scam awareness workshop:
