LAST Saturday, December 14 Broken Hill Rotary members revealed the winners of the service club’s 2024 Christmas Raffle that included a trailer full of goodies as the grand prize.
The trailer was filled to the brim with gifts and smaller items, with 19-year-old local Mia Kelly taking home the huge prize.
The four runners up Alan Wurn, Debbie Nelson, Malcolm Clark and Siri Tang, who each won a $100 voucher.
Rotary Club president elect Marc Coulter said more tickets were sold for the raffle this year than previous efforts.
“A big thank you to the community, considering the last 12 months haven’t been an easy time for many,” he said.
“By assisting Rotary, you are assisting the community.
“This allows us to do those extra projects and make donations to various other service clubs, schools and undertake many other projects, so it’s greatly appreciated.”
