SMART Recovery

Wellbeing Place, 1pm, free

The SMART recovery groups are facilitated by RFDS staff who are trained in SMART recovery and experienced within the field. SMART Recovery is an evidence-based recovery method grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), that supports people with substance dependencies or problem behaviours to build and maintain motivation, cope with urges and cravings, manage thoughts, feelings and behaviours and to lead a balanced life.

Y Space Youth Drop-Ins

The Y Space, 3-6pm

Y space is a youth centre for young people, aged 12-18 years, to hangout after school with the Y staff and other youth in Broken Hill. The Y Space is full of activities for young people, including board games, gaming consoles, arts & crafts equipment, a range of sport equipment, space to study and space to unwind.

Chess Club

Do you love playing chess? Maybe you would like to learn? Come to the library on Wednesday afternoons between 4-6pm to have a game or learn to play. All age groups and skill levels welcome. Chess boards are supplied.
