Cool 13 degrees weather kept attendances to 18 social bowlers.

There was only one unbeaten side for the afternoon, which featured Barry’s Hooker’s triple which comprised lead Ray Sayers and second Brian Jones.

Tuesday social bowls, August 5, 2025

The best Tuesday conditions for approximately one month attracted 26 participants who played two games of three triples and two pairs.

Three teams emerged triumphant under the control of skips Kay Burns, Peter Merritt and Barry Hooker.

The number 37 on the wheel was top news for Peter’s triple, which included lead Kris Hunter and experienced second Judy Calleia.

The first consolation draw in about four weeks saw Barry’s triple, which featured lead Phil Stephens and second Zac Weekes receive some compensation on the second spin after missing out on the first.

Kay Burns was in impressive form with the sole resting toucher for the afternoon.
