Broken Hill Men’s Indoor Bowls Association
ROUND 9 was played on Tuesday, July 8 with only one game played as the Demo gave a forfeit to Try-Hards due to sickness and an unavailability of players.
So the Sturt Rebels played against Muso Flags, a family rivalry. The game was a fizzer as the Flags scored willingly, and held a 12-nil score after the fifth end.
Sturt did score on the next end to zip up the fly, but gave five shots away on the eighth end. Sturt, to their credit, did score the next six ends to reach 12 but was too late and lost 19 to 12.
Try-Hards won on a forfeit from Demo, their second win for the season.

Try-Hards 4pts
The last round will be played next Tuesday night, July 15 at the Sturt Club Hall: Flags v Demo; Try-Hard v Sturt.
