North Broken Hill Bowling Club

Saturday social bowls, May 24, 2025

MILD 20 degrees weather saw 20 participants play two matches on our club’s bottom carpet green.

There was only one undefeated side, which comprised lead Amelia Butler, second Graham Riley and their skip Wayne Anderson.

Brian Jones scored the only resting toucher.

Tuesday social bowls, May 27, 2025

WINDY 18 degrees gradually improved during the afternoon, with 18 social bowlers competing on our upper grass green, which was running very well.

Two teams emerged unscathed, under the control of skips Lloyd Rawlins and Bill Symons.

The number 1 on the wheel saw Bill’s cohorts (lead June Walker and second Kristian Sartori) win the day.

Lloyd and June were in consistent form with one resting toucher each, while Brian Pascoe (2) and Brian Fenton (1), both delivered wrong bias bowls.
