STURT Rebels have clinched the Broken Hill Mixed Indoor Bowls Association grand final against Muso Oldies, but they didn’t have it all their own way.
Muso Oldies led by Virginia Buietti, Adrian Dalby, Paul Thys and skippered by Bob Smith scored on the first end.
But Sturt Rebels hit back with consistent good bowls.
Rebels, skippered by Aaron Hawke, eventually pulled away for a great win 20-9.
Sturt players did not wilt under the pressure of a grand final.
The decider was played on Thursday, November 28.
The presentation will be held tomorrow night starting at 6pm at the Musicians Club.
