Students score soccer goals

THREE Sacred Heart Parish School students recently displayed their talents at the Wilcannia-Forbes Soccer Trials in Parkes.

Patrick Dall’Armi, Phoenix LaRovere, and Emmett Piasente showed their remarkable talents, skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

The competition was fierce, attracting participants from across central and western New South Wales.

Despite the obstacles, Patrick, Phoenix, and Emmett showed determination, exhibiting a steadfast commitment and enthusiasm that distinguished them from the rest.

Their hard work has truly paid off, with all three selected to join the prestigious Wilcannia-Forbes Diocese team.

This achievement is a significant milestone for them as they advance to the highly regarded Polding Trials in Bathurst.

There, they will compete for a chance to earn a coveted spot on the Polding team, which will represent the region at the NSW PSSA Soccer Championships later this year.

The entire Sacred Heart Parish School community is incredibly proud of these remarkable young athletes.

Their success reflects their hard work, perseverance, and the invaluable support from their families.

“Congratulations to Patrick, Phoenix, and Emmett,” teacher Lucy Clarke said.

“They have not only represented their school with excellence but have also inspired their classmates.

“We wish them the best of luck at the Polding Trials and eagerly anticipate watching them continue to bring pride to Sacred Heart Parish School.

“Great job, boys.”
