Littlest footy stars shine bright

THE Broken Hill Auskick Awards were held recent at Memorial Oval with recipients from all four major clubs getting a nod.

Winners included South’s Na’asoni Tuipuloto, West’s Jackson Cowley, North’s Riley Smith and Central’s Chase Lindsey.

Tuipuloto has played up in the U12’s program at times this year, kicking two goals and being judged among the against West in round six.

The start of the year saw a new program where the clubs, on a rotational basis, helped run the clinics, led by seniors squad members.

According to a statement from AFL Broken Hill 2026 will see a focus on increasing female participation in the Auskick Program

Auskick offers an opportunity to get into football for kids aged under six through to under 10s before joining regular competitions from under 12 and beyond.
