MAKING jewellery and eating cheese, what more could you want?
That was the way I spent my Saturday afternoon thanks to Coco and May’s “Earring Edit”.
The earring edit is a workshop where owner Chloe Bannister helps attendees make their own earrings in her styles.
Chloe sets up dangles and studs with many different designs to pick from – it’s almost too hard to choose.
For my earring edit, I got to make five pairs of earrings.
It’s an ingenious take on the “Paint and Sip” parties and is helping to get people into the Main Street.
“We squished a half day of work in, a birthday party and an earring edit! Lots of fun was had and so many earrings made,” Chloe said. “Thank you all so much.”
The earring edits came about during the middle of the year as a way to get friends together and do something fun.
Chloe has more edits coming up as well as some Christmas themed nights in November.
She also hosts parties for children and adults.
It was a fun afternoon and while the decision to mix and match earrings was very difficult, I was happy to walk away with some beautiful earrings in colours that I love.
