IN celebration of 30 years of service to Aboriginal communities in the state’s Far West, Maari Ma Health Aboriginal Corporation will be hosting a gala anniversary ball.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 20 at the Broken Hill Civic Centre, and any community members over the age of 18 are invited to purchase a ticket.
CEO of Maari Ma, Richard Weston, said all are welcome to celebrate the occasion.
“Anniversaries are special occasions and what better way to celebrate than to hold a night of entertainment, good food and good company,” Mr Weston said.
“We’re not only honouring our 30 year history with pride and unity, we’re looking forward to our future with optimism and new opportunities.
“We welcome stakeholders, clients, friends and families to join us on this very special night of fun, celebration and community spirit.”
The ticket price of $75 per head includes a three course meal, live music by the Bell River Band and entertainment by comedian Sean Choolburra.
