SMALL grants of up to $15,000 are now available to communities across the Far West experiencing drought, thanks to the launch of a new funding program.
The Community Drought Resilience Small Grants Program will offer funding opportunities to support community groups, field day organisers and not-for-profit organisations operating in drought affected and recovering affected regions in the Far West.
Grants may be used to fund events, programs and activities that support resilience in times of drought across the region.
This may include gymkhanas, conferences, wellbeing activities and more that address drought preparedness.
The funding comes as White Cliffs faces dry conditions, with water restrictions in place and only approximately four months of water supply remaining in the town water.
Applications will open August 4, and projects are are required to be delivered by November 30, 2025.
