NORTH BROKEN HILL BOWLING CLUB REPORT

Saturday evening social bowls March 15, 2025

FOURTEEN social bowlers played one game of triples and two editions of pairs.

There were two victorious teams under the control of skips Wayne Williams and Ray Grenfell.

An odd number on the wheel saw Wayne’s side, which featured lead Allan Fraser and second Steve Cicak, claim the evening’s main prize.

Denis Watts didn’t properly check his bowl before he delivered a wrong bias bowl.

Tuesday afternoon social bowls March 18, 2025

A VERY good attendance of 26 participants enjoyed excellent conditions under our club’s carpet green shelter shade.

Three sides remained unconquered under the charge of Steve Cutting, Judy Calleia and Lloyd Rawlins.

A low number 7 on the wheel was just right for Steve and his lead Brian Jones.

The consolation spin brought good news for Jenny Garnaut, Zac Weekes and their skip Steve Balman.

Bob Sultana continued his impressive form with one resting toucher, a feat also achieved by Peter Balman and Tony Brown.

Steve Cutting’s wrong bias delivery didn’t affect the performance of his team.
