Broken Hill Men’s Indoor Bowls Association

ROUND 6 of the men’s indoor bowls was played on Tuesday night, June 17 with results going to the two power teams Muso Flags and Demo.

Demo took on the battlers Try-Hards, and at some stage the Battlers held their own but over 16 ends, it was a bridge too far.

They did take a 4 and a 3 off them but the score blew out to 22 to 9.

The other game was a family affair with Muso (Skippered by Aaron Hawke ) and Sturt having three players from the Hawke Family.

After the 11th end, Sturt held a slender one shot lead, but the oil in the wheels dried up and fell off and Muso scored 14 with a knock off.

Sturt can play 11 ends, but 5 ends they go to bed. The end score was Muso Flags 21 to Sturt 10.

The ladder have 3 teams on 8pts and percentages separate the three.

Demo 8pts +41

Muso 8pts +29

Sturt 8pts +11

Try-Hards 0pts
