MITRE 10’s Paul Murphy Helpful Service Award was given to Broken Hill’s Mason Ravlich recently, acknowledging his remarkable service to the community.
The award celebrates the exceptional service provided by a Mitre 10, Home Hardware, Thrifty Link and True Value Hardware stores employee.
Endorsed by Broken Hill Mitre 10’s managing directors, Mr Ravlich’s nomination for excellence in customer service outlined his work ethic.
“Mason embodies our values in his work by engaging each customer with a warm and approachable demeanour, while averaging his knowledge of our products and services to provide exception assistance,” managing director Selina LaRovere-Nagas said.
“Mason is more than mighty helpful – he is a warm and considerate person with an ability to show others that customers are not an interruption to our work and ensure loyal customers return to the store.”
Mr Ravlich has been an employee of Globe Mitre 10, Broken Hill, for six years.
He travelled to Adelaide Convention Centre to receive the award in front of a more-than-thousand-strong audience.
Ms LaRovere-Nagas said the award was a reminder of the terrific community service offered throughout Broken Hill.
