TWO of Broken Hill’s Broncos basketball teams made it to the South Australian Country Championship grand finals recently.
Unfortunately both squads lost the big games by small margins.
Four Broncos Basketball teams travelled to Adelaide to participate in the Senior Country Championships at the Adelaide showgrounds.
Broken Hill White made it to the Men’s Division 4 grand final going up against Port Lincoln White.
The team just missed out on the win with Port Lincoln taking the championship 41 to 37.
The Broken Hill Women’s team also made it to the Division 3 grand final but missed out on the win with Eastern Hills scoring 48 to 41.
Meanwhile, Bronco’s Gabriela Marrone-Sadauskas was voted tournament MVP.
