BROKEN Hill’s Mundi Mundi Bash will return in 2025, despite its sister festival the Big Red Bash taking a pause, with Missy Higgins, Hoodoo Gurus and The Cat Empire to headline the desert festival.
It will be staged over the weekend of August 21-23, and the line-up will see local bands like Leroy Johnson and the Waterbag Band and Tha Boiz share the stage with classic Australian favourites Chocolate Starfish, Rose Tattoo, Ross Wilson, Shannon Noll, Pierce Brothers, Thirsty Merc and Dragon.

“It’s really unlike anywhere else playing in Broken Hill,” she said. “My band and I are very excited to return in 2025 and bring my new album (as well as plenty of old favourites) to the Mundi Mundi Bash.”
Activities synonymous with The Bash such as world record attempts for the Nutbush, Mad Max dress-up, Big Blue Day and the Mundi Undi Fun Run will be returning, along with outdoor film screenings, morning yoga, camel rides and more.
The Bash is a three day, dog friendly, camping event at Belmont Station, 35km north of Broken Hill.
NSW Government have announced they will sealing the remaining few kilometres of dirt road leading to the event prior to the festival.
Tickets to the Bash went on sale on October 24.
