LOCAL retired mother and grandmother Julie Larkin has been helping busy parents by making their children’s decorative Easter hats for five years - ensuring they’re ready for the annual parade.

Originally Ms Larkin began making the decorated hats for her grandchildren, but once she saw the demand from time-poor parents, she got to work crafting for the town.
